About Trend Rider

The Trend Rider system is what I use myself in the stock market. Since more than twenty years I have tried quite some different trading styles. Throughout this endeavor my faith in longer-term investing in the right trends grew substantially. Important here is the combination of long-term energy with entry and exit methods derived from short-term trading. While I have seen some success with other methods like scalping on a day trading basis, the best system with longevity focuses on trends with a swing trading style and regards investment aspects.

The Trend Rider trading guide could be your starting point to a wealthy life. But will it work? This cardinal question can only be answered threefold:

• It will work in the right hands.
• If you are able to adapt yourself to this trading system more than the other way round, it will work to some degree.
• Otherwise it will not work well or even backfire if you have difficulties to execute the stop loss method.

Personally I am oscillating between the former two items. There is a chance that you are better gifted to execute this system than I am. It is also clear that there will be traders having much smaller or no success at all.

Trading is difficult and there is no simple way for everyone to succeed. If you have hoped for a system that always works great, no matter who is trying to use it, stop searching for it. There is no such thing despite all wishes and promises.

The Trend Rider tries to exploit the biggest moves there are and in theory this system is somewhere near the virtual optimum of trading behavior. But it depends on the endurance and discipline you spend for aligning your trading with the Trend Rider way and of course on the amount of luck that is with you.

It depends on luck? Yes, that is right! Start with some losers or at the wrong time, when, seen in hindsight, the market was headed down and you may be disappointed, give up and never turn back. The money management and stop loss system will most likely protect you against substantial losses, but you won't have the warm welcoming start that you expected.

Trading is even with using a perfect trading system highly probabilistic. Having a sensible system is one thing, adding the necessary perseverance the other. There is no other way to defy the caprices of chance.
